Insurance
The National Association for Geological Activities (LVGA for short) has taken out insurance for the benefit of its own members, the departments (such as the WFW), the board members and volunteers nationwide and the board members and volunteers of the departments. The WFW board knows more about these insurances. The insurance consists of three components:
1. Directors' liability for persons (policy no. 270019)
2. Liability as a department, corporate liability insurance (policy no. 7.081.380.3)
3. Accident insurance, valid worldwide and for all departmental activities (policy no. 7.081.380.3)
Coverage (general description):
1. This insurance covers damage caused by the actions of LVGA board members or branch representatives whilst performing their duties.
2. The liability insurance covers damage caused by members to third parties during activities organised by the LVGA or a branch.
3. The accident insurance covers damage caused by activities involving members, where a member suffers damage as a result of an accident occurring during and at the venue of an activity organised by the LVGA or a branch.
Important note regarding point 3: this insurance does not cover people aged 75 or over. In such cases, we recommend taking out your own insurance.
